Kanoon has several schools in Tehran. These schools are called “Saraye Danesh” and they follow Kanoon’s educational system. They have six defining characteristics:
• Each session has a specific guided module specification
• Students receive a one-paper summary of the lessons for each class
• Students are supported by a tutor who attends the class together with the teacher
• Students stay in the classroom to do their homework after their teacher finishes off his/her lecture.
• Breakfast Exams: students start their day with a quiz on what was taught yesterday.
• Every day the class-tutors report the students’ progress to their parents
