Kanoon has several schools in Tehran. These schools are called “Saraye Danesh” and they follow Kanoon’s educational system. They have six defining characteristics:

1. Each class has a structured lesson plan in line with Kanoon Developmental Assessments.
2. All teachers provide the students with a lesson summary of their lecture.
3. Every class has a Personal Tutor who is in the class during the lecture. They also help the students in doing their homework during the practice session after the lecture.
4. Each module has two sessions: a) ‘Lecture Session’ when teachers are lecturing, b) ‘Practice Session’ when students are practicing what they have been taught.
5. Each school day starts with a ‘Breakfast Test’ from the lessons taught the day before.
6. Parents receive a report about their children’s performance in the class, written by the class Personal Tutor, every week.
